Branch Manager Job Location: Brooksville, KY, USA Job Purpose This position leads the branch’s efforts to proactively meet the client’s financial needs through a client‑centric, consultative sales approach. It requires the ability to meet expected individual and branch goals and metrics and to drive sales and operational performance. Job Duties Responsible for employee and business development. Manage a sales pipeline, sales activities, and achieve assigned goals and surpass scorecard metrics individually and as a branch. Turn service encounters into dialogue‑based meetings to uncover additional client needs. Maintain knowledge of consumer and business lending products to generate and execute lending and deposit products. Interpret documents such as safety rules, account documents, operating instructions, compliance and loan procedure manuals. Support and lead branch staff in servicing clients and building a book of business focused on steady growth and consistent profit improvement. Proactively meet clients’ financial needs through the sales process. Use Salesforce for client and prospect interactions and sales activities. Make outside business calls to acquire and retain business. Establish and maintain working relationships with partners. Conduct regular sales meetings and structured coaching sessions to provide balanced feedback and actionable items. Collaborate with the Regional Manager to assign goals, monitor branch progress, and make necessary adjustments to achieve exceptional results. Manage day‑to‑day branch activities; develop, retain, and recruit high‑quality staff; and maintain world‑class service levels. Establish an efficient, productive, and collaborative working environment based on continuous staff communication. Conduct weekly staff meetings to engage the team in branch performance. Provide structured monthly or more frequent coaching sessions to ensure individual and branch success. Prepare and deliver performance feedback, including quarterly and annual reviews, development plans, and disciplinary action as applicable. Ensure compliance with established policies and procedures, including Retail Branch Standards. Lead branch initiatives to build external business and community relationships; manage Community Re‑Investment Act strategies. Monitor and manage branch delinquency with the collection group; control teller error and outage. Ensure overall operational soundness, including annual branch assessment, compliance, and regulatory requirements. Operate a cash drawer and provide coverage as needed. Assist branch associates with troubleshooting and processing transactions on the Teller Insight platform. Research and provide resolution to customer and branch concerns. Consistently complete required training for all bank and branch policies and procedures. Capture client concerns and provide solutions in a timely manner. Perform special projects as assigned. Education, Experience and Job Skills Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in the financial services industry. 1–3 years of experience in a managerial role preferred. Energetic, enthusiastic team player with strong leadership skills. Demonstrated sales success as an individual and as a leader. Excellent communication, problem‑solving, customer service, cross‑selling and lending skills. Decision‑maker with well‑developed interpersonal skills to represent the bank positively with clients, employees and the community. Pass background and credit standards to hold NMLS credentials. Trustworthy and confidential behavior essential to the role. Proficient in basic computer operations and standard applications; quick to learn job‑specific software. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Ability to travel, including overnight stays, to attend training and fill in at other branches. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
