Forklift Operator

Forklift Operator Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Forklift Operator to join our team. This individual will be responsible for operating sit-down and/or clamp forklift equipment to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise within the distribution center. The ideal candidate will possess at least two years of propane sit-down forklift experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Pay, Schedule, and Location Starting at $20.50/hour Excellent benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision 2nd Shift: Monday – Friday, 2:30 PM – 10:30 PM Located in Joliet, IL Duties and Responsibilities Operate sit-down and/or clamp forklift equipment safely and efficiently Stack and store merchandise in designated areas Unload inbound shipments and move product to storage locations Pull and prepare products for shipment Ensure accurate product counts and proper shipment loading Perform picking and order checking duties as needed Move product from staging or storage areas into trailers Maintain records and reports to ensure inventory control and security Assist with physical inventories and cycle counts Ensure proper stock rotation Complete equipment inspection forms prior to operation Use RF scanning equipment to maintain inventory accuracy Report safety concerns and inventory discrepancies to management Requirements and Qualifications High School Diploma or GED preferred Minimum 2 years of sit-down propane forklift experience required Ability to become NFI forklift certified Basic Excel and general computer knowledge required Ability to stand and walk for 10–12 hours Ability to lift and/or pull up to 50 lbs without restriction Ability to bend, stretch, reach above and below the waist frequently Ability to work in environments with varying noise levels, lighting, and temperatures Ability to work irregular or extended hours, including nights and weekends as needed Strong attention to detail, basic math skills, and excellent customer service skills (Salary range based on experience) Accurate Personnel provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws. #J-18808-Ljbffr
