Pay is dependent on education and experience.Essential Functions:Maintains truck and crane inspection logs on a daily basisCompletes CAT service reports daily that are legible, have proper grammar and sentence structure, and appropriate SIMS codeTransmits photos, timecards, service reports, and other information through e-mailMaintains good customer records on jobs that have been assignedMaintains credit card receipts for accounting purposesWorks with the Service Department, Product Support Representatives, and Sales Department to meet all of the customer's needsCommunicates with customers on the diagnosis and status of repairs, parts, and other concernsTeaches and coaches other technicians in the fieldPromotes Wagner Equipment Co. to customersAccurately troubleshoots and repairs CAT equipment the first timeReads, understands, and applies electrical and hydraulic schematics to repair workSafely rigs or hooks components for liftingRemoves, repairs, and installs major components in varying configurations of equipmentMaintains tooling in good working order as per MSHA and OSHA regulationsMakes determinations in the field on warranty repair and guidelines, communicating decisions to customer and dispatcherMaintains service vehicle in safe and good repairOther duties as assigned by managerRequired Education and Experience:High School Diploma or GEDRelevant CAT related courses3+ years servicing heavy equipmentDOT Health CardClass D Driver's LicenseMSHA License1+ years administrative/clerical experience3+ years customer service experience3+ years sales experiencePhysical Demands & Competencies:Standing, walking, talking, sitting, use of hands & hearingAscending or descending ladders, stairs, etc.Heavy work that includes lifting and/or moving objects up to 100 pounds or moreData Entry, telephone, reading/writing, reasoning, organizational, communication & math skillsSafety & Product KnowledgeBasic Knowledge of Microsoft Word and OutlookIntermediate Knowledge of DBSIntermediate Knowledge of ET/SIS/SIS Web/STWAbility to work independently with little or no directionWell-rounded knowledge of CAT equipmentWork Environment:Noise: LoudIndoors and OutdoorsTravel Requirements: 75%- 100%Other Duties:Job Offers are contingent upon all required pre-employment screenings which may include but are not limited to background checks, drug/alcohol testing, fit for duty testing, and any other job-related tests/screenings.Wagner Equipment Co. is an EEO/AA/Veterans/Disabled employer.Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
