Critical Facilities Operating Engineer

Operating Engineer – Kansas City, MO JLL is seeking an Operating Engineer focused on operating, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing facility equipment across all systems, with expertise in Electrical, HVAC, Piping/Plumbing, or Central Utility Plant Operations. Responsibilities Perform maintenance, monitoring, and repairs on Mechanical, Plumbing, Structural, Furniture, Fire, Life Safety, and Control systems. Maintain facility services, preventative maintenance, purchasing, inventory control, and contracted maintenance. Inspect, clean, calibrate, and replace parts on HVAC and associated equipment to ensure optimum performance. Record readings and adjust equipment as necessary to maintain proper operation. Comply with safety policies for hazardous materials and maintain a clean and safe workplace. Complete any other duties and tasks assigned. Qualifications High School diploma or GED equivalent, with technical training or degree. Universal CFC license. Strong understanding of Mission Critical system operations, maintenance, engineering, and design principles. Preferred: Certified Mission Critical Operator (CMCO) Certification. At least 5 years of related work experience in a technical, critical environment operation. Knowledgeable in Data Hall (White Space) power distribution and cooling.
