Contract - RN - Medical Surgical - Neuro

Location: Austin, TX

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 07:00 - 19:00, No call required.

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Medical Surgical unit specializing in Neuro. This position is ideal for a nurse who is looking to make a significant impact in patient care in a fast-paced environment. As an RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and ensuring optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop nursing care plans.
• Administer medications and perform medical procedures as needed.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans based on clinical findings.
• Educate patients and families on health management and wellness.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide integrated patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Current RN licensure in the state of Texas.
• BLS and NIH certifications are required.
• Experience in MedSurg nursing preferred.
• Strong assessment and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
