RN HospiceImmediate need for a talented RN Hospice. This is a 13+ weeks contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Missoula MT (Onsite). Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if you are interested.Job ID:26-22014 Pay Range: Regular Pay: $20/hr Weekly Housing & Meal Stipend: $1600.55/weekly Weekly Per Diem: $720 Weekly Gross Pay: $2,320.55 (subject to completion of scheduled hours)Key ResponsibilitiesPatient Care & Symptom ManagementDeliver comprehensive nursing care to terminally ill patients, with a focus on comfort and symptom management.Administer medications and interventions per physician orders.Continuously assess patient needs and ensure a dignified, comfortable end-of-life experience.Supervision & Delegation to CNAsProvide guidance and oversight to non-unionized CNAs to ensure quality personal care and adherence to patient care plans.Delegate appropriate nursing support tasks (ADLs, hygiene, mobility) while ensuring safety and compassion.Monitor CNA documentation for accuracy and completeness.Offer real-time feedback and mentorship in a respectful, team-oriented environment.Interdisciplinary CollaborationParticipate in interdisciplinary team (IDT) rounds.Contribute to care planning, symptom management strategies, and family education.Coordinate with other healthcare professionals for holistic patient care.Family & Caregiver SupportProvide emotional support, guidance, and education to families and caregivers.Help them navigate the physical and emotional challenges of end-of-life care.Documentation & ComplianceAccurately document nursing assessments, interventions, and communications.Ensure all care aligns with regulatory and quality standards.Infection Control & SafetyFollow infection control procedures and maintain a safe environment for patients, families, and staffShift: 7PM – 7AM / 7AM – 7PMScheduled Hours: 36 hours [Hours per Facility]Key Requirements and Technology ExperienceCurrent RN license (Compact or Montana)Minimum 1 year of recent experience in hospice, palliative care, critical care, or med-surgExperience working in a unionized healthcare environment (for RNs)Strong clinical judgment and communication skillsBasic Life Support (BLS) certificationOur client is a leading Healthcare Industry and we are currently interviewing to fill this and other similar contract positions.
