Job Description Maintenance Process Instrumentation Technician – Engineering – B1-B3 Responsibilities Servicing, troubleshooting, and maintaining equipment in LP2 that includes high purity water, compressed air, steam, chilled water, glycol, and city water. Engage in site maintenance, calibration program, and reliability programs. Display good documentation practices. Installation and maintenance of new and used equipment. Key Responsibilities Pre-Startup and Startup Phase Support a safety-first, quality always maintenance team. Respond quickly and proactively to changing priorities within a reasonable timeframe. Follow maintenance procedures such as Tagout (LOTO), Job Hazard Analysis (JHA), and Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) work plans. Review data loading into CMMS and manage workflow for data changes. Support C&Q activities, including but not limited to initial calibrations, shakedowns, initial/operational verification, and equipment qualification. Use the Workday system for time entry and personal information. Use Performance Management (PM) to manage objectives and development aligned with organizational priorities. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on Process Instrumentation, Temperature, Pressure, Flow, and Automatic Control Valves. Troubleshoot and diagnose Process Instrumentation equipment problems and make appropriate repairs to minimize downtime. Perform modifications and new installations of Process Instrumentation. Read P & ID drawings and schematics. Maintain high attention to detail especially in GMP documentation. Post Startup Support C&Q activities, including but not limited to initial calibrations, shakedowns, initial/operational verification, and equipment qualification. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on Process Instrumentation, Temperature, Pressure, Flow, and Automatic Control Valves. Ensure ongoing continuous maintenance system improvements. Support communication between Operation shifts, Maintenance, Engineering, Automation, and site customers. Identify and implement Human Error Prevention opportunities. Use basic GMARS functionality daily. Use GMARS closing notes with work order codes daily. Use Microsoft Office tools. People Management Communicate and model the company’s values, standards, and policies to the team. Ensure ongoing learning and team reflection. Identify and implement changes to work practices with appropriate team members. Support direct reports in safety practices. Basic Qualifications Education: High School Diploma (associate degree in Electronics preferred). Experience: Minimum of five years of maintenance experience. Knowledgeable of pharmaceutical operations and processes or other GMP. Must possess a valid driver’s license. Physical requirements: Ability to lift 40 lbs. Ability to work in awkward positions, cramped quarters, on ladders, scaffolding, and lifts as required. May be required to work during summer and winter periods. Overtime may be required pending work demands. Temperature conditions may vary. Shift Hours Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday working 4–10-hour days. Must be available to provide off‑hour support; overtime will be required at times. Additional Skills/Preferences Prefer 480V electrical experience. Experience with Pressure, Flow, Temperature control systems. Knowledge of pH, Conductivity, Resistivity a plus. Familiarity with maintenance CMMS. Supports a flexible 24/7 schedule. Compensation and Benefits Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is $21.27 – $41.25. Full‑time equivalent employees will also be eligible for a company bonus (depending on company and individual performance).
