RN - Cardiac Cath Lab

Registered Nurse - Electrophysiology LabWe are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide exceptional patient care before and during Electrophysiology (EP) procedures. This role includes cross-training in the EMTI Admit/Recovery area and various technical positions in the device and ablation lab. The ideal candidate will be responsible for patient education related to EP procedures and will administer moderate sedation under the direction of the EP Physician. Additionally, this position involves participation in materials management and research, as well as assisting with the orientation of new staff members.ResponsibilitiesProvide patient care before and during EP procedures.Cross-train in EMTI Admit/Recovery area and device/ablation lab positions.Educate patients on EP procedures.Administer moderate sedation under physician's direction.Participate in materials management and research activities.Assist in the orientation of new staff members.Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure2 to 3 years of Critical Care nursing experience or 3 to 5 years of Cardiac experience.NJ State RN license, BLS, and ACLS Certifications.Preferred: Experience in an EPS lab or Cath lab.Preferred: CCRN, RCES, or RCIS Certifications.ShiftThis is a 10-hour day shift position.Assignment DurationThis is a 13-week contract position.Why ARMStaffing?At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
