Utility WorkerThe Utility Worker is an entry-level, catch-all maintenance and facility support role that keeps the production floor running smoothly, from restocking supplies and changing light bulbs to moving pallets with a forklift. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, this role is well suited to someone with basic mechanical aptitude who is reliable, safety-minded, and comfortable handling a wide variety of hands-on tasks each day.Facility Upkeep & General SupportRestock and maintain restroom, breakroom, and production floor supplies, such as paper towel and toilet paper dispensersPerform basic housekeeping and janitorial tasks throughout the facility to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environmentPerform minor facility repairs, including work at height using ladders or liftsMaterial Handling & Forklift OperationOperate a forklift to move pallets and materials between production, warehouse, and shipping areas (training and certification provided)Assist with staging materials for production as neededSafely transport tools, equipment, and supplies throughout the facilityMaintenance SupportAssist the Maintenance Supervisor and maintenance technicians with basic repairs, preventive maintenance, and equipment upkeepPerform minor mechanical, electrical, or plumbing tasks within the scope of training and skill levelReport equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, and facility issues to the Maintenance SupervisorProduction Floor AssistanceRespond to ad hoc requests from production and other departments to support day-to-day operationsAssist with moving equipment, staging materials, and general labor tasks as directedSupport facility improvement projects and other duties as assignedQualificationsRequiredHigh school diploma or equivalent (GED)Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn hands-on maintenance and facility tasksComfortable working at heights using ladders or lifts, and able to lift/move materials up to 50 lbsWillingness to obtain forklift certification; company-provided training availableReliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently across a variety of tasks with minimal supervisionBasic hand tool use and general repair experienceMust be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual as defined in 22 CFR 120.15), as this role may require access to export-controlled technical data subject to ITAR/EARPreferredPrior experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or facilities environmentExisting forklift certification or experience operating powered industrial trucksWork EnvironmentThis role works throughout the facility, including the production floor, warehouse, and shop areas, with exposure to noise and moving machinery and equipment. Requires frequent standing, walking, climbing ladders, and lifting or moving materials up to 50 lbs. Requires use of PPE including safety glasses, hearing protection, and steel-toed footwear. Minimal travel required.
