Role Description The Client Success Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Southport, CT, responsible for ensuring an excellent experience for business owners throughout the M&A advisory process. This role includes managing client relationships, serving as a primary point of contact, and coordinating communication between clients and internal deal teams. Day-to-day tasks involve monitoring client needs, tracking engagement progress, preparing and reviewing client-facing materials, and ensuring timely responses to inquiries. The Client Success Manager will collaborate closely with senior bankers to support transaction execution, gather feedback, and identify opportunities to improve service quality and client satisfaction. The role also involves maintaining accurate records in CRM systems, supporting onboarding and engagement planning, and contributing to continuous improvement of client success processes.
Qualifications

Strong customer service and customer satisfaction skills to ensure an excellent client experience throughout engagements.
Proven relationship building and customer retention abilities to develop long-term, trust-based partnerships with business owners.
Solid analytical skills to interpret client feedback, engagement metrics, and process data for continuous improvement.
Ability to manage multiple client accounts, prioritize tasks, and coordinate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create clear, professional client-facing materials.
Experience in professional services, financial services, consulting, or related fields is highly beneficial; exposure to M&A or corporate finance is a plus.
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, communications, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
Proficiency with CRM systems, productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Office), and a high level of attention to detail and confidentiality.
