Head of Real Estate and Facilities role at mid-size foreign bank
Position Summary:
The person in the seat will be responsible for the oversight and coordination of Real Estate and operational facilities management for the bank. They will ensure that the facility, including its data centers, BCM sites, and associated equipment, run safely, efficiently and smoothly.
Responsibilities:
Exercises managerial responsibility for Real Estate, Building Services and Office and Support Services including:
- Organization for Data Center facilities and its real estate operation in a prudent and ethical manner.
- Develops / implements strategies and business plans consistent with local management and the Global Functional Lead’s objectives to provide intelligent solutions to clients and to ensure compliance with the bank’s standards.
- Project management of real estate and facilities management projects.
- COI Process when needed
- Responsible for the day-to-day management and operation of Real Estate and Building Services.
- Oversight of various vendors that directly manage facilities operations and tasks
- Coordination with internal and external auditors
Qualifications:
- Minimum 8 years of professional experience
- Strong customer service focus, budgeting, and communication skills required
- Strong business systems knowledge
- Proficiency with safety and compliance
- Strong organizational skills
- Relevant professional certifications are a plus but not required: Certified Facility Manager (CFM), Facilities Management Professional (FMP)
