Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Summary:
Seeking a highly skilled Emergency Room RN to provide top-quality care in a fast-paced Level II trauma ED. The ideal candidate will be proactive, engaged, and capable of handling high patient acuity with confidence and compassion.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and prioritize patient conditions upon arrival, ensuring timely and appropriate care.
• Perform complex procedures including procedural sedation with Propofol, Etomidate, and Ketamine.
• Monitor and manage psych/at-risk patients with a focus on safety and effective intervention.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and execute patient care plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation using Meditech EMR system and adhere to all hospital policies.
• Educate patients and families, providing clear, supportive communication to address needs and concerns.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license with at least 2 years of recent acute care ED experience.
• Valid BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS, TNCC, and ENPC certifications.
• Strong skills in trauma, critical care, and emergency procedures.
• Experience with high-volume ED settings and Meditech EMR preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to handle high-acuity patients with professionalism and urgency.
