Supervisory Auditor (Standards Branch Manager)

DutiesManages pre-issuance Compliance Reviewers supporting DCAA's mission. Directs timely compliance reviews in accordance with Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards (GAGAS), the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), and agency policy.Supervises a team of Compliance Reviewers, managing workload, evaluating performance, and fostering a productive team environment. This includes handling all supervisory actions in compliance with Federal regulations and agency policies.Serves as a technical authority on quality compliance, providing expert guidance to subordinate staff and management on complex auditing standards and procedures.Serves as liaison among compliance reviewers, audit staff, and senior management to resolve issues, communicate sensitive findings, align efforts with organizational objectives, and provide leadership clear, actionable information on agency impacts.Identifies and monitors opportunities to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the compliance review process, ensuring audit practices remain compliant and effective.
