Job Description
Exciting CVICU Nurse Opportunity!

Job Description:


- Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)
- Unit: CVICU
- Schedule: 7p-7a Nights, 3x12s (Option for 4x12s. Please indicate preference on cover page)
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Start Date: ASAP (dependent on EPIC experience/training schedule)

Requirements:


- Active VA or Compact License in hand at submission
- 2 years of CVICU experience
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Ability to float to regular ICU (may care for COVID patients), CV stepdown, and/or cardiac telemetry unit

Additional Information:


- COVID-19 Vaccine: Required; Medical/Religious Exemptions Only
- Flu Vaccine: Required during flu season (Oct 1st - Mar 31st); Medical Exemptions Only
- Weekends: Every other weekend
- Float Requirement: Yes; ability to float to regular ICU, CV stepdown, and/or cardiac tele unit

EPIC Class Requirement:


- RNs with 6+ months of EPIC experience in the past 12 months: Clin Doc Accelerated (approx. 4 hours of modules)
- RNs with less than 6 months of EPIC experience in the past 12 months: Clin Doc 2-Day (no modules)

Key Notes:


- No calendar week requests for time off during assignment; minimal RTO encouraged
- Expect to work some holidays; RTO approved at manager discretion
- Previous staff members must wait one year before returning as a traveler
