Admissions Coordinator & Medical Records Clerk

We are looking for a reliable, organized, and compassionate professional to join our team in a dual-role position as an Admissions Coordinator & Medical Records Clerk.

Experienced in skilled nursing, long-term care is preferred.

Admissions Coordinator Responsibilities

• Coordinate and facilitate new resident admissions
• Review referral and admission documentation for completeness
• Communicate with hospitals, physicians, families, residents, and referral sources
• Assist with insurance verification and authorization processes
• Maintain accurate admission records and documentation
• Ensure a smooth and welcoming admission experience for residents and families
• Coordinate with nursing, social services, therapy, business office, and other departments

Medical Records Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate, complete, and confidential resident medical records
• File, scan, organize, and retrieve clinical documentation
• Assist with medical record audits and regulatory compliance
• Ensure required documentation is obtained and maintained
• Process requests for medical records in accordance with privacy regulations
• Support the clinical team with documentation and record management

• Knowledgeable about HIPAA and maintaining confidentiality
• Experienced in skilled nursing, long-term care, healthcare admissions, or medical records preferred
• Previous healthcare or skilled nursing experience is a plus!
