1:1 Part-Time Support Staff Needed – Inner city of Baldwinsville (DJ– AO)32, male, inner city of Baldwinsville is looking for a Direct Support Professional to assist with, Teach social skills, pursue my hobbies and interest and Teach skills for independent living.He is very easy-going and soft-spoken. He is interested in music and takes guitar lessons and occasionally would need transportation to the lesson. He enjoys playing video games, using the computer, and going to the movies. He likes to walk in parks, and volunteer at the animal shelter.The ideal candite is required to have clear boundaries. The ideal candidate should be able to work around animals. The ideal candidate should be good at helping him find new things to do in the community. The ideal candidate should be able to make it to friend’s connection events.This is a part-time position, but additional hours are available with other people receiving services at the agency.Start time flexible not looking for Wednesdays up to 20hours a week.Starting pay: CH1 $19.25/hour and increases with years of relevant experience.Location, Baldwinsville NYQualifications:Must be at least 18 years old.Ability to work independently in the person’s home and/or community.Reliable with effective communication and organizational skillsNo experience required but experience working with people with disabilities preferred.New York State Driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance is required; acceptable driving record required.Must have technology available to download multiple apps for use in the community.Must have a valid drivers licenseEffective communication and organizational skills required.Flexibility with assignments and schedule required.Reliable transportation to arrive to job site at scheduled time.Experience working with people with Developmental Disabilities preferred.Must have technology available to download multiple apps for use in the community and abide by Indera's technology policy. #J-18808-Ljbffr ARISE CHILD AND FAMILY SERVICE INC
