Nurse Resident

Education/Experience Minimum Required: A graduate of an accredited school of Nursing Preferred: Bachelors of Science degree in Nursing Previous clinical nursing experience in an acute care or ambulatory setting License/Certification Minimum Required: Current New York State Registered Nurse License or Limited Permit CPR within 3 months of hire Preferred: Professional certification in a related nursing specialty Relevant skills certification (i.e., ACLS, Basic Coronary) Work Environment Work is performed in an office environment and patient care areas which require working in proximity to other employees and patients. Rooms are air‑conditioned and heated. Fast paced environment with frequent interruptions. Exposure to equipment cleaning solutions and disinfectants. PPE (Eyewear, Masks, Face shields, Shoe covers, and Gloves) as required by UHS Infection Control policies.
