As a technical baseline manager on our team, you'll work with Booz Allen colleagues and DoW clients to analyze, architect, engineer, integrate, test, and deploy the next generation of resilient Environmental Monitoring (EM) and Tactical Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (TISR) systems. You'll develop, integrate, and manage Technical Requirements Documents (TRDs), Interface Control Documents (ICDs), and Models‑Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) products. You'll provide technical advice to senior program managers and executives on space system and segment design, and test issues to inform major program decisions. You'll perform systems engineering and program management functions in support of design reviews, technical evaluations, and requirements verification. You'll analyze problems, develop technical reports, make recommendations, and work with government and corporate stakeholders to implement recommended solutions. Responsibilities Analyze, architect, engineer, integrate, test, and deploy EM and TISR systems. Develop, integrate, and manage Technical Requirements Documents (TRDs), Interface Control Documents (ICDs), and MBSE artifacts. Provide technical advice to senior program managers and executives on space system and segment design and test issues. Perform systems engineering and program management functions in support of design reviews, technical evaluations, and requirements verification. Analyze problems, develop technical reports, make recommendations, and work with government and corporate stakeholders to implement recommended solutions. Required Qualifications 4+ years of experience working on large-scale space systems engineering, integration, and development programs. 2+ years of experience performing and leading a team in the development and management of technical specifications, ICDs, CONOPS, architectural designs, and integration and test plans. Experience leading requirements and interface management efforts for a major program. Experience coordinating and presenting technical changes across large stakeholder groups through review boards, including configuration control or engineering review. Experience using Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Knowledge of systems engineering standards, including IEEE 15288.1 and IEEE 15288.2. Secret clearance. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or Computer Science. Nice to Have Experience performing systems engineering, integration, and testing on space-based remote sensing systems (e.g., SBIRS, Next Gen OPIR, FORGE, WSF‑M, or EWS). Experience with satellite Command and Control (C2) architecture and development. Experience using MBSE approaches to manage system definitions and technical baselines. Experience creating and managing Jira tickets or Confluence pages. Experience with SysML, Enterprise Architect, CAMEO, or DOORS. Knowledge of DoD 5000.01 and 5000.02. Knowledge of Agile methodologies. TS/SCI clearance. Master’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or Computer Science. INCOSE Systems Engineering Professional Certification such as ASEP, CSEP, or ESEP. Compensation Salary range: $86,900.00 – $198,000.00 (annualized USD). Compensation is determined by a variety of factors including location, education, skills, and experience.
