Pharmacy Technician 
Pay Rate: $18.00/hour
Location: Canton, MI
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM

Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician to assist in the preparation and distribution of prescription medications in a fast-paced pharmacy environment. This role supports the fulfillment process by preparing prescriptions, resolving claim issues, entering prescription information, and providing excellent service to members and healthcare providers.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and distribution of prescription medications.
• Process prescription exceptions, including resolving claim rejects and conducting member and physician outreach.
• Enter member demographics and prescription information into the pharmacy processing system.
• Research and resolve rejected insurance billing issues and escalated member concerns.
• Escalate prescription-related questions to the Pharmacist for interpretation or guidance.
• Assist with inbound and outbound patient and physician calls.
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all pharmacy policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 2–4 years of Pharmacy Technician experience.
• Current Michigan Pharmacy Technician Registration/License (required).
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
