ALLY Psychiatry is seeking a PRN Psychiatrist to provide inpatient psychiatric care at Live Oak Mental Health & Wellness in Charleston, South Carolina.

This flexible PRN opportunity is ideal for a psychiatrist looking for additional clinical work, supplemental income, or a flexible schedule while providing coverage for weekends, holidays, and provider vacation time.

The psychiatrist will work as part of a collaborative behavioral health team alongside mid-level psychiatric providers, providing inpatient psychiatric treatment and supporting the overall care of patients in the facility.

What You'll Do

As a PRN Psychiatrist, you will provide psychiatric evaluation, treatment, and medication management for patients receiving inpatient behavioral health services.

Responsibilities may include:

• Provide inpatient psychiatric evaluations and treatment
• Perform comprehensive psychiatric assessments
• Develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide psychiatric medication management
• Monitor patient progress and response to treatment
• Participate in treatment planning and clinical decision-making
• Collaborate with mid-level psychiatric providers
• Communicate with nursing staff and other members of the multidisciplinary treatment team
• Provide coverage during weekends, holidays, and psychiatrist vacations
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Provide compassionate, evidence-based psychiatric care

W-2 or 1099 Options

Requirements

• Board-certified or board-eligible Psychiatrist (MD or DO)
• Active and unrestricted medical license applicable to South Carolina
• Inpatient psychiatry experience preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and medication-management skills
• Comfortable working in a multidisciplinary behavioral health environment
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently while partnering with other psychiatric providers
