Our organization is on the lookout for a board-certified or board-eligible Pulmonary/Critical Care physician to become part of our team in Altoona, PA. The ideal candidate will deliver comprehensive care to patients facing a wide array of general and complex pulmonary conditions, while also working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to provide advanced critical care during ICU rotations.
Position Highlights:
- Full-time role combining pulmonary practice with ICU responsibilities
- Access to a cutting-edge bronchoscopy suite, featuring routine bronchoscopy, robotic bronchoscopy, and EBUS
- Collaboration with a dedicated Interventional Radiology team for CT-guided lung biopsies and ultrasound-guided thoracentesis
- Support from Advanced Practice Providers (APP) in both the pulmonary clinic and ICU
- Strong institutional focus on delivering high-quality, compassionate patient care
- 24/7 in-house intensivist and APP coverage, reducing after-hours duties for pulmonologists
