Work Environment\n

This remote position affords you the flexibility to work from home while engaging directly with clients via telehealth platforms and community outreach settings. The virtual environment will require you to utilize digital communication tools effectively for assessments, therapy sessions, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. Although your base of work is remote, you will connect regularly with colleagues and participate in team meetings to foster a collaborative work culture.

Key Responsibilities\n

  • Serve as a primary clinician for assigned clients, providing evidence-based interventions for major mental illnesses and severe emotional disorders.

  • Conduct thorough assessments and screenings, utilizing standardized tools and evidence-based practices to determine client needs and appropriate level of care.

  • Develop, implement, and monitor integrated care plans in collaboration with clients, their families, and other stakeholders.

  • Effectively engage in crisis intervention, ensuring clients have immediate access to necessary resources when needed.

  • Maintain meticulous documentation and timely submission of reports, data, and case notes in line with organizational standards.

  • Actively participate in team meetings, committees, and quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing service delivery.

  • Monitor and manage your caseload, which includes individual, group, and family therapy, while ensuring all treatment aligns with client goals.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses primarily on clients with complex psychological needs, including those diagnosed with major depressive disorder, anxiety disorders, and other significant emotional challenges. You will need to demonstrate cultural competence and adapt your approaches to suit the diverse backgrounds and experiences of the clients you serve. Your goal will be to facilitate client empowerment and choice throughout their treatment, ensuring they are active participants in their recovery journey.

Qualifications\n

  • Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) or a related field is mandatory.

  • Current Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) credential in Connecticut.

  • Demonstrated expertise in assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and crisis intervention specific to mental health.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are required to interact effectively with clients and collaborate with team members.
