This, in turn, creates a lasting impact on the world around us.Job DescriptionOlsson specializes in providing multidisciplinary, preliminary, and construction design services for a diverse range of land development projects, including mixed-use, commercial, and residential developments, industrial facilities, sports venues, schools, and various site development types. We are committed to positively impacting communities through innovative and sustainable solutions.As a Civil Design Manager, you will be responsible for leading quality assurance/quality control for the team, providing senior level design review for the team, and attending client meetings. You will direct and manage project staff on technical aspects of projects. You may also travel to job sites at different stages in construction and work in all types of terrain and weather conditions.Primary Responsibilities will include:Directs and manages staff on technical aspects of projects including coordination with all disciplines involved on projects.Plans and oversees the quality review process of project deliverables.Provides a consultative resource to clients for project resolution.Strengthens and further develops subject matter expertise in certain design areas.Provides senior-level design review for various projects on the team and acts as a resource for technical issues.May assist in the preparation of project studies by completing drawings, sketching, or acquiring data.Promotes efficiencies in producing quality work.Supervises and reviews assignments of less experienced staff.Olsson currently has growth opportunities for our Site Design group. This role offers flexible work options, including remote and hybrid opportunities, to accommodate diverse working preferences and promote work-life balance.
