For more than 30 years, we've focused on diagnosing and treating the underlying causes of pain rather than simply masking symptoms. Our team is committed to compassionate, patient-focused care and helping individuals improve their quality of life.What You'll Do As a Medical Scribe, you'll partner directly with physicians to document patient encounters, manage electronic health records, and help keep clinical operations running smoothly.Accompany physicians during examinations and document medical histories, physical findings, and provider interactions.Record diagnoses, symptoms, treatment plans, prescriptions, and follow-up instructions.Transcribe physician orders, including laboratory tests, imaging studies, and medications.Document procedures performed during patient visits.Prepare and maintain accurate, complete electronic health records.Schedule and reschedule new and existing patient appointments.Contact patients proactively when earlier appointments become available due to cancellations or open slots.Schedule follow-up appointments during patient check-out or document why an appointment could not be scheduled before the patient leaves.Perform other related duties as assigned to support clinical operations.Qualifications Required:High school diploma or GED.Knowledge of ECW software.Ability to accurately document patient care and transcribe patient appointments.Ability to maintain the confidentiality and privacy of patient information.Preferred:At least one (1) year of Medical Scribe experience or related experience, training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.Skills for SuccessStrong verbal and written communicationExcellent interpersonal and customer service skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related softwareStrong organization and attention to detailExcellent documentation and transcription abilitiesCommitment to accurate medical recordsAbility to remain effective in high-pressure situationsBenefits Health & WellnessHealth, Dental & Vision InsuranceHospital IndemnitySick Time OffFinancial & Work-LifePaid Time Off (PTO)Company-Paid Holidays401(k) Retirement PlanDailyPay (on-demand pay access)Additional PerksBonusly (employee recognition)Opportunities for AdvancementOn-the-Job TrainingJoin Our Team If you're looking to build your healthcare career while working alongside physicians and a supportive team dedicated to quality patient care, ISSF would love to hear from you.An Equal Opportunity EmployerWe do not discriminate based on race, color, religion, national origin, sex, age, disability, genetic information, or any other status protected by law or regulation.
