Job Title:Virtual Speech Language PathologistPay Range:$50-57/HourJob Description:2026–2027 School Year | $50–$57/hour | Full-Time | Philadelphia, PA | School-Based | PA SLP License RequiredAbout the Role:Provide speech and language therapy services to middle school students in a school-based setting. You'll conduct evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, deliver direct therapy services, and collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to help students achieve meaningful communication and academic success.This is a full-time, temporary assignment (40 hours/week) supporting students in grades 5–8 from August 10 through October 30.Why Join Us:CEU/license reimbursement and tuition assistanceFull benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k)Paid sick timeSpread Pay options availableWhat You'll Do:Conduct speech and language evaluations to determine student needs and eligibilityDevelop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goalsProvide direct speech-language therapy services to a caseload of approximately 60 studentsComplete and maintain compliant IEP documentation using PowerSchoolParticipate in IEP meetings, annual reviews, and multidisciplinary team collaborationConsult with teachers, families, and school staff to support student progress across educational settingsMaintain accurate therapy notes, progress reports, and required documentationSupervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) as applicableWhat We're Looking For:Must Have:Current Pennsylvania Speech-Language Pathologist license (or eligibility to obtain prior to start)Current Pennsylvania Department of Education Educational Specialist certification (or eligibility to obtain, if required)Ability to complete all required criminal background clearancesStrong communication, collaboration, and organizational skillsExperience working with school-aged studentsPreferred:One or more years of school-based Speech-Language Pathology experienceExperience managing school-based caseloads and IEP complianceFamiliarity with PowerSchool or similar student information/IEP systemsExperience collaborating within multidisciplinary educational teamsAssignment Details:Location: Philadelphia, PASchedule: Full-Time (40 hours/week)Assignment Dates: August 10 – October 30Grade Levels: 5th–8th GradeCaseload: Approximately 60 studentsIEP Platform: PowerSchoolSchool Interview Required: YesExisting School Partnership: Nyman currently supports the school with OT and Paraprofessional services.About Point Quest Group:Point Quest Group is a leading national provider of special education services, partnering with 350+ school districts to help students with unique needs thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
