Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various surgical specialties.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care in the operating room environment.
Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes during procedures.
Maintain a sterile field and ensure adherence to infection control protocols.
Monitor patient status throughout the surgical process and respond to any changes in condition.
Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record system (Cerner).
Participate in on-call rotations as needed.

Qualifications

Current BLS certification.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in the operating room setting.
Experience in Robotics, General Surgery, GYN, and Urology is required.
Previous circulating experience is necessary.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Schedule

This position offers evening shifts of 5x8 hours, typically from 1430 to 2300. Additionally, there may be opportunities for call rotation during weekdays and weekends.

Additional Information

Scrubs will be provided for this position.
