Job Overview The Registered Dental Assistant is responsible for assisting the dentist(s) and the dental hygienist(s) in the direct provision of primary care dental services to patients at the clinic. Responsibilities also include sterilization, preparation, and inventory control of dental instruments and supplies, and proper infection control of all areas involving patient care. Minimum Requirements High School diploma or GED certificate. Valid licensed Registered Dental Assistant with certifications in Coronal polishing, X-Rays, and Infection control. Certification in Pit and Fissure Sealants required within 60 days of hire. Valid CA Driver's License if assigned to Mobile Units. Successful completion of background DOJ/FBI clearance within 30 days of hire if assigned to Mobile Units. Bilingual English/Spanish required. Valid BLS certification or higher, following AHA or American Red Cross guidelines. Compensation $28.00 - $32.90 hourly. Actual salary offers are considered by various factors, including budget, experience, skills, education, licensure and certifications, and other business considerations. The range is subject to change. This role may also qualify for discretionary bonuses or incentives.
