Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position on an Acute GI Medicine Unit, requiring a minimum of 2 years of recent specialty experience and night shift availability.

Details

• Acute GI Medicine Unit within a hospital setting
• 12-hour night shifts, scheduled 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• 3 shifts per week
• No on-call requirements

Requirements

• Active GA or Compact RN license required
• Current AHA BLS and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications required; ACLS preferred
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg experience required
• Driver's License required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Former permanent staff returning as travel nurses must have a minimum 2-year break before being considered
• Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed upfront prior to offer acceptance — requests cannot be made after an offer is extended
• 13-week contract
