Maintenance ManagerAt Pilgrim's, Safety Is A Condition, which means the safety of our team members comes first - always.We are looking for a Maintenance Manager for our Frozen Pet Food side to direct and coordinate, through subordinate supervisors, the activities of workers engaged in repair, maintenance, and installation of machines, tools, and equipment, as well as the maintenance of buildings, grounds, and utility systems in an industrial plant environment. This role ensures continuous operations, optimal equipment performance, and adherence to safety and operational standards.Responsibilities:Lead and develop preventive maintenance programs to ensure optimal performance and reliability of equipment and systems.Collaborate with cross-functional teams (operations, engineering, quality) to resolve issues and improve equipment and process efficiency.Oversee maintenance of facilities, production equipment, and utility systems to support continuous and safe operations.Supervise, train, and develop maintenance teams while ensuring compliance with company policies, safety standards, and procedures.Plan, prioritize, and schedule maintenance activities—including repairs, installations, and equipment modifications—to minimize downtime and support production goals.Manage departmental budgets and drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce costs, increase efficiency, and ensure operational excellence.Other duties as assigned.What You'll Need:· Education: Engineering degree, technical associate degree, or completion of a vocational/technical certification in a related field or 5 years of maintenance management experience in lieu of degree;· Experience: Minimum of 5 years of directly related maintenance leadership experience;· Skills: Strong knowledge of industrial maintenance, utilities systems / production equipment, experience leading teams and driving performance in a manufacturing or industrial environment, ability to manage budgets, analyze data, and implement process improvements, strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.Why Work for Pilgrim's?Schedule: Monday – Friday with occasional weekends;Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;Paid Time Off: Sick leave, vacation, company observed holidays or, any other statutorily required paid leave;401(k): Company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule;Base salary range +/- based on experienceDiscretionary Bonus: This position is eligible to participate in the Company's annual bonus plan, the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program;Career Development: Our company is dedicated to supporting professional growth by offering continuous learning opportunities and a focus on career growth through various learning and development programs; andBetter FuturesThe Company is dedicated to ensuring a safe and secure environment for our team members and visitors.
