When it counts, we deliver cool results with ingenuity, precision, and integrity—and we’re looking for people who want to do the same. **WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:*** Directly lead production employees, including training, directing, conducting performance reviews, educating, and mentoring on performance.* Look after day-to-day production activities to ensure that current commitments are achieved while improvements are being made.* Handle daily performance through the use of process center communication boards daily.* Be a change agent and drive out waste throughout the manufacturing operation through the deployment of the Lean methodology.* Ensure a clean and safe working environment for all employees, emphasizing prevention of potential problems and hazardous conditions, and supports nVent's safety programs.* Review and submit payroll hours on a weekly basis, entering exception hours as needed.* Support new process and product development and implementation.* Develops key improvement projects and fulfills related duties as needed. **YOU HAVE:*** High school diploma or G.E.D* BA Degree is a plus* Ideally 3 plus years manufacturing experience, with a preference for manufacturing leadership experience preferred* Ideally 2+ years of experience in Lean manufacturing, with a strong ability to articulate and apply Lean concepts and methodologies.**WE HAVE:*** A dynamic global reach with diverse operations around the world that will stretch your abilities, provide plentiful career opportunities, and allow you to make an impact every day + nVent is a leading global provider of electrical connection and protection solutions.
