Personal Lines Account Manager

We are seeking an experienced Personal Lines Account Manager to join a growing independent insurance organization. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional client service, managing existing personal insurance accounts, and helping clients maintain appropriate coverage through proactive account management.


The ideal candidate is customer-focused, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment while building long-term client relationships.


Key Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of personal lines insurance accounts and provide ongoing client support.
• Conduct annual policy reviews and recommend appropriate coverage enhancements based on clients' evolving needs.
• Assist clients with policy changes, renewals, endorsements, billing questions, and general service requests.
• Support clients throughout the claims process and help facilitate timely resolution.
• Build strong relationships by actively listening to client concerns and delivering outstanding customer service.
• Retain existing clients by identifying solutions to coverage or service-related issues.
• Process policy transactions accurately and maintain complete, up-to-date client records.
• Prepare insurance documentation including ID cards, certificates, endorsements, and related policy forms.
• Verify and update customer contact information during client interactions.
• Maintain knowledge of personal lines insurance products, carrier guidelines, licensing requirements, and industry best practices.
• Provide administrative support including answering phones, processing incoming documents, scanning, and other office responsibilities as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to support agency growth, client retention, and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of Personal Lines insurance experience within an independent agency or brokerage environment.
• Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license preferred or ability to obtain and maintain licensing as required.
