The Psychiatric/Mental Health (PMH) Registered Nurse, requires a wide range of nursing, psychosocial, and neurobiological expertise. PMH nurses promote well-being through prevention and education, in addition to the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health and substance use disorders. The nurse demonstrates ability to make clinical judgments in an effective and efficient manner and demonstrates critical thinking and performance ability in the coordination of patient care. The PMH RN works in a variety of settings and provides comprehensive care to individuals, families, and communities when applicable.

Details: Position: Psychiatric RN's Location: St. Pete, FL Shift: 12hr shifts weekdays with rotating weekends Schedule - Days and Nights available 13 weeks + extension possibility Start - 2 weeks out Local- $43 starting (up to $45 with tenure after 6months) (Must be flexible with upcoming holidays) Requirements: Must have prev. 1+ years of recent psychiatric setting/environment experience. (Crisis Stabilization Unit - Baker Act - Addiction/Substance Abuse - De-escalation) Crisis Prevention Intervention Certification is a plus!

Requirements: Need to be comfortable with hands on and holds/de-escalation Involuntary and voluntary admissions

Facility Info - 1 childrens and 2 adult units Avatar is EHR but for ETOs - some duplicative paper charting

Pay Details

Local- $43 starting (up to $45 with tenure after 6months) (Must be flexible with upcoming holidays)
