Certified Pharmacy Compounder

We are seeking an Entry-Level Certified Pharmacy Technician / Compounder who is detail-oriented, eager to learn, and excited to develop their skills in a hands-on setting. Our company prepares custom orders tailored to individual patient needs, providing an opportunity to learn specialized pharmacy processes that go beyond the traditional retail pharmacy environment.

salary: $37,440 - $45,760 per year
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM
education: High School

Responsibilities

•   All Pharmacy Technicians are responsible for completing the following tasks and activities:
• Ensure that the correct formula is prepared according to each patient-specific prescription.
• Ensure compounds are prepared in accordance with the master formulation and all relevant compounding guidelines and quality standards are maintained.
• Perform daily cleaning of compounding areas and maintain cleaning logs in accordance with established policy.
• Develop and maintain a good working relationship with all staff, suppliers, and clients.
• Other duties or special projects, as assigned. 
• Attend staff meetings and safety meetings, as requested.
• Assist pharmacists in needed daily tasks including … clearing out the fill queue, creating and affixing Dymo labels to compounded products, and ensuring adequate stock of ingredients needed for the following day.
