Oncology RN - Outpatient Infusion

This is a 13-week contract position.

Day shift available, with options for varying start times:

• 7:45 AM - 4:15 PM
• 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
• 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM

We are seeking an experienced Oncology RN to join our outpatient infusion clinic team. The position involves administering chemotherapy infusions, performing port draws, and collaborating with the clinic staff to ensure exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will be a valued member of our supportive team, with the manager recognizing and rewarding hard work.

Responsibilities:

• Administer 6 chemotherapy infusions and perform 1-2 port draws daily.
• Utilize Alaris Infusion Pumps and CADD Ambulatory Pumps for patient care.
• Monitor patients during infusions and respond to any complications.
• Provide education and support to patients concerning their treatments.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum 1 year of prior oncology/infusion outpatient experience required.
• Oncology certification (ONCC or ONS) is required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Experience with EPIC charting system preferred.
