Restaurant Food Server

Responsibilities: • Greet customers, take food and beverage orders from diners, serve orders promptly, and accommodate any special needs or requests • Establish a full knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and daily specials to respond to client inquiries and make recommendations • Receive proper payment from the guest and ensure the accuracy of the guest check and method of payment to protect both the customer and the restaurant from transaction errors • Actively engage in pre-shift and department meetings to get a thorough knowledge of all goods, services, and facility operations • Perform all restocking and cleaning activities as directed, including opening and closing duties Qualifications: • Outstanding time management and organizational skills • Prior food service industry experience is highly desired • Candidates must have completed high school or received similar certification (GED) • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with customers and other team members • Must have a strong focus on putting the guest first with exceptional customer service experience Compensation: $5.35 plus tips
