Renewed Beginnings Counseling is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our team in Henderson, Nevada. This full-time position focuses on delivering exceptional mental health services to children and adolescents, specializing in evidence-based therapeutic interventions. As a Mental Health Therapist, you will play a crucial role in promoting the emotional and psychological well-being of young clients and their families.

Work Environment\nThis position is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility in your work schedule while fostering a close-knit team environment. While the majority of work will be conducted from home, occasional in-office collaboration may occur, emphasizing our commitment to teamwork and patient-centered care. Our work hours are Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some evening shifts required to accommodate patient needs.
Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to evaluate the psychological and emotional needs of children and adolescents. \n
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that consider the developmental stages of clients and the dynamics of their families. \n
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions to address a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders. \n
- Collaborate closely with child psychiatrists and multidisciplinary team members to ensure cohesive and comprehensive care practices. \n
- Provide crisis intervention support for young clients and their families during mental health emergencies. \n
- Educate clients and their families on mental health disorders, treatment options, and available community resources, empowering them to make informed decisions. \n
- Maintain meticulous and confidential patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring quality of care. \n
- Participate actively in team meetings and case consultations to enhance collaborative practices and improve treatment outcomes. \n
- Keep abreast of the latest research, best practices, and advancements in child and adolescent mental health to enhance professional development. \n
Our primary focus is on children and adolescents, specifically catering to those facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety disorders, depression, ADHD, and behavioral issues. You will work with clients from diverse backgrounds, requiring a culturally sensitive and adaptable approach to meet their unique needs. This role is pivotal in helping to shape the mental health outcomes of our youngest community members and supporting their families in the therapeutic process.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution. \n
- Current and valid licensure as LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Nevada. \n
- Strong foundational knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders, including evidence-based therapeutic modalities. \n
- Demonstrated experience providing both individual and family therapy to children and adolescents. \n
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, characterized by a warm and child-focused approach. \n
- A proven ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients and their families. \n
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and proficiency in using various computer applications. \n
- Capacity to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team setting. \n

- At least two years of clinical experience in a mental health setting, ideally working with children and families. \n
- Experience implementing therapeutic techniques that promote positive behavioral change in young clients. \n
- Background in crisis intervention and handling emergency mental health situations involving children. \n
