PRN Fiscal Services Specialist
Perform a variety of accounting and clerical support functions to support fiscal and operational teams. Process nutrition and miscellaneous deposits. Assist in the preparation of invoices for non-patient customers in Workday. Assist finance leadership with monthly accounting close including reconciliations and journal entries. Perform other fiscal and clerical functions as assigned. Shriners Spokane is looking for a PRN Fiscal Services Specialist to join the team!
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of accounting and clerical support functions.
- Assist DFS with month-end and year-end general ledger close.
- Processes miscellaneous cash receipt deposits in an accurate and timely manner.
- Maintains current and accessible files of legal documents and communications as required to SHC-legal.
- Reconciles deposit information to source documents.
- Assist with preparing invoices for non-patient customers.
- Assist with reconciliations of general ledger activity on monthly basis.
- Run reports out of Workday on financial transactions.
Required Qualifications:
- 5 years Clerical Support
Preferred Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting
- 5+ years accounting in hospital or not-for-profit setting
The pay range for this position is $24.50-$36.76/hourly. Compensation is determined based on years of relevant experience and departmental equity.
