As a Security Officer Patrol Services in West Des Moines, IA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a respected financial institution, where you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a financial services location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the lobby, office areas, parking areas, ATM surroundings, and exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, observe visitor and employee activity, and support authorized entry procedures in accordance with site protocols for a financial institution location.
• Prepare clear, timely incident and activity reports and communicate with local staff, visitors, and/or first responders during escalated situations as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
