Metrology Technician: Calibration & Compliance Expert

Arcadis is seeking a Metrology Technician that will be responsible for performing calibration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of laboratory and production equipment to ensure compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., ISO, FDA, GMP). The technician supports manufacturing and laboratory operations by ensuring all instruments and equipment operate within specified tolerances. Responsibilities Calibrate laboratory and manufacturing equipment (e.g., balances, temperature/humidity sensors, pressure gauges, pipettes) following SOPs and manufacturer guidelines. Perform routine and preventive maintenance on a wide range of metrology instruments. Maintain accurate calibration records, certificates, and logs in compliance with GMP, ISO, and client standard requirements. Support internal and external audits related to metrology and equipment compliance. Diagnose and resolve equipment performance issues, collaborating with engineering and quality teams as needed. Identify and implement process improvements for calibration and maintenance activities. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures. Train and mentor junior technicians as required. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications & Experience Associate’s Degree or Technical Diploma in Electronics, Metrology, Engineering Technology, or a related field. 2+ years of experience in metrology, calibration, or related technical field (experience in pharmaceutical or life sciences preferred). Working knowledge of calibration standards (GMP, ISO 17025, FDA). Proficient with calibration software, MS Office, and data entry. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to provide legal US work authorization documents required. Will consider US domestic travelers and relocation. #J-18808-Ljbffr Arcadis
