University of Virginia: UVA Provost's Office: School of Medicine: Family Medicine *Location* Charlottesville, VA *Description* The Department of Family Medicine (FM) at the [University of Virginia (UVA) School of Medicine]( seeks applications for an Assistant or Associate Professor - UVA Family Medicine, Multiple locations. We will fill four vacancies. The successful candidate(s) will work as a Family Medicine physician at one of our Family Medicine practices. The incumbent will be responsible for direct patient care and occasional precepting 8 outpatient sessions/week, position may include teaching and supervision of residents and medical students. We maintain specific expertise related to the care of refugees and immigrants, global health, gender medicine, sports medicine, and obesity medicine. Our practices are place great emphasis on team-based care and evidence informed decision making. *Qualifications* Qualified candidates must have an MD or DO and be board-certified or board-eligible by either the American Board of Family Medicine or the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians by the start date.
