Process Engineer II

Process Engineer IIWe are seeking a Process Engineer II to support manufacturing operations by improving process performance, product flow, and overall plant efficiency. This role will work with cross-functional teams to identify improvement opportunities, solve technical issues, and support continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, delivery, and cost.Responsibilities:Support manufacturing operations through process analysis, troubleshooting, and improvement activitiesIdentify and implement process improvements to reduce waste, improve flow, increase capacity, and lower costApply Lean tools such as 5S, kaizen, value stream mapping, visual management, and standard workAssist with process documentation, operating procedures, and standard work updatesCollect and analyze data to identify trends and improvement opportunitiesSupport line balancing, workflow, layout, staffing, and work cell improvementsPartner with operations, maintenance, quality, and other teams to resolve technical issuesParticipate in projects that improve manufacturing efficiency, safety, and productivityCommunicate progress, findings, and recommendations clearlyRequired Skills:BS or MS in the following Engineering Disciplines: Chemical, Materials, Mechanical, Industrial or Ceramic Engineering or other related engineering discipline2+ years' experience in Manufacturing Environment or related technical experienceKnowledge of manufacturing systems, production processes, and standard engineering principlesWorking knowledge of Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement toolsExperience with 5S, kaizen, value stream mapping, standard work, flow improvement, line balancing, or work cell designStrong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and ProjectPreferred: Data Analytics, Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification, Knowledge of manufacturing cost accounting, Project management experienceThis position does not support immigration sponsorship. The range for this position is $84,932.00 - $116,782.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.Corning offers you the total package.
