Interventional Radiology Nurse

APN Healthcare Services Inc is seeking a travel nurse RN Interventional Radiology for a travel nursing job in Lafayette, Indiana. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Interventional Radiology Discipline: RN Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Specialty: interventional radiology procedures, conscious sedation, monitor patient vitals during invasive procedures. • Shift Hours: M—F 8a—430p or 4 (10hr shifts) 0700-1730 • Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 • Weekend Shift Hours: on call rotation with 5 other RN • Call Requirements: on call rotation with 5 other RN • Required Certifications (i.e. BLS, ACLS, NRP, ARRT, AWHONN, etc.): RN, ACLS. • Years of Experience: 3yrs • Float Requirements: N/A Unit Information: • Number of Beds: 225 • Patient Ratios: 1/1 Patient / RN • Equipment: Siemens Artis Z, Siemens Artis Q, Philips EPIQ US machine. • EMR: EPIC Hiring Profile: • Must Have Skills/Experience: ACLS RN, Comfortable performing conscious sedation under the direct supervision of radiologist. • Preferred Skillset/Experience: preferred experience working in interventional radiology or Cath lab setting, history of working in ED or ICU setting. • Type of Patients on Unit: patients requiring invasive radiology procedures. • Personality Fit: confident RN, more comfortable working in group setting with Technologist & RN to care for interventional radiology-based patients.
