Licensed Practical Nurse

Description: Westminster Canterbury of Lynchburg, a 5-star-rated Continuing Care Retirement Community in Central VA, is seeking n LPN Medication Nurse to join our team! Full-time, day shift (7A-7P) position available with a complete benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, Paid Time Off, 403B with match, and more. Prepares, administers, and records prescribed medications as administered. Records all care information concisely, accurately, and completely in a timely manner. Administers medications, treatments, IV's, catheters, and obtains blood samples as necessary. Evaluates nursing care with emphasis on medication administration, prescribed treatments, and patient responses; consults with supervisory nurse in the establishment of short-term and long-range goals for patients. Reports adverse reactions of medications and/or treatments in accordance with facility policies and procedures. Provides bedside care for a wide variety of patients. Participates in discharge planning as needed.
