Tech - Cath Lab/EP

Job Description

Job Summary:

Seeking a qualified Cath Lab/EP Technician to provide specialized support in cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures. The role involves assisting with high-quality patient care and maintaining technical proficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and set up Cath Lab/EP procedures, ensuring all equipment is ready and functional.
• Assist physicians during procedures by managing instrumentation and patient positioning.
• Monitor patient vitals and communicate changes to the healthcare team.
• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and equipment usage.
• Adhere to infection control standards and safety protocols.
• Support travel and scheduling requirements, including rotating shifts and call duties.

Qualifications:

• Possess an ARRT or CCIAR license, or pending certification.
• Demonstrate at least 2 years of experience in cath lab or electrophysiology settings.
• Have proficiency in using Cerner or similar electronic health record systems.
• Be available for at least 1-2 days of call per week, including rotating weekends.
• Show understanding of cardiac procedures, protocols, and safety procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a clinical setting.
