Help. Will be responsible for selling a variety of merchandise such as coffee and pre-made food items such as cookies, muffins, pastries, etc. Operates cash register, rings up sales, receives money and makes change, processes credit card sales, or charges to member's account. At the end of each shift clears the cash register, and turns over cash and supporting documents as instructed. Conducts daily inventories. Maintains area in clean and orderly condition. Provides a consistent environment and experience for customers by crafting coffee beverages correctly and consistently. In a Food Activity: Performs check-out duties such as ringing up food, beverages and merchandise by individual item; totaling sales; processing credit card sales; receiving money; and making change. Performs related food service duties such as assisting in setting up the serving line replenishing beverage dispensers, ensuring kitchen staff is advised. Prepare a limited variety of hot & cold beverages such as cappuccinos, brewed coffees, lattes, espressos, hot chocolate, etc...by selecting proper ingredients. Serves food and beverages. Performs other related duties as assigned.
