Our Law Firm is currently in need of a legal assistant to assist in attorney scheduling, court filings, discovery, coordinating & scheduling meetings, and case management. The ideal or preferred candidate for this position will have previous experience with the legal system, and has the capability to learn case management systems. A strong attention to detail is needed for proofreading and drafting documents. We are looking for someone who is highly motivated and organized, as well as self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced office environment. Position Overview: Our Legal Secretary's work closely with attorneys to manage case files, prepare legal documents, interact with clients, and ensure the smooth operation of daily tasks. This role requires a detail-oriented and organized professional with excellent communications skills and the ability to multitask efficiently. This position would require you to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive client information appropriately. Pay: From $40,000.00 per year Qualifications: Previous experience working in or around the legal profession (Preferred) Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn legal management software Ability to prioritize and multitask Exceptional organization and time management abilities Excellent written and verbal communication skills Deadline and detail-oriented Benefits: 401(k) Health Insurance Paid Time off Schedule: Monday to Friday \nCompany Description
