Registered Nurse - Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)

Join a dedicated nursing team in a post-anesthesia care setting, providing leadership and comprehensive patient care. Key Responsibilities Include Performing thorough assessments, developing individualized care plans, and implementing timely interventions based on patient data and physician orders. Delivering age-specific physical, psychological, and social care, responding effectively to routine and emergency situations. Administrating medications and treatments per protocols, evaluating patient progress, and educating patients and families about post-care needs. Communicating patient status to team members and physicians, and delegating tasks appropriately. Supervising and evaluating team members, maintaining organized workflows, and collaborating effectively within the team. Applying evidence-based practices, adhering to professional nursing standards, and ensuring safety at all times. Qualifications Include Graduate of an accredited nursing program or equivalent. Valid RN license for the respective state. Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Life Support (ALS) certifications; additional certifications like NRP, PALS are preferred. Physical ability to perform patient care tasks, including lifting, standing, and communicating effectively. Additional Requirements Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
