Job Title: Tableau Developer
Location: Chicago/Dallas (Hybrid)
Contract : 6+ Months

Role Summary:

• We are looking for a skilled Tableau Developer with 5 8 years of experience in designing, developing, and optimizing interactive dashboards and business intelligence solutions. The ideal candidate should possess strong data analysis skills, advanced SQL expertise, and the ability to convert business requirements into meaningful visual insights. Experience in the Capital Markets domain will be considered a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Tableau dashboards and reports.
• Develop interactive visualizations to support business decision-making.
• Gather reporting requirements from business stakeholders and translate them into Tableau solutions.
• Write and optimize SQL queries to extract and transform data.
• Build and maintain Tableau data sources and data models.
• Monitor dashboard performance and optimize visualizations.
• Ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency across reports.
• Support production issues and implement enhancements.
• Collaborate with data engineering and business teams throughout the development lifecycle.

Required Skills

• 5 8 years of Tableau development experience.
• Strong experience in Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server/Cloud.
• Advanced SQL and database querying skills.
• Strong understanding of data analysis, reporting, and visualization best practices.
• Experience working with large enterprise datasets.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Data Warehousing concepts.
• Exposure to ETL tools and cloud data platforms.
• Knowledge of Tableau Prep.
• Experience integrating Tableau with enterprise applications.
• Capital Markets domain experience is highly preferred.
