Details Community hospital setting within the Cardiac Cath Lab/EP department Work settings include diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab and electrophysiology (EP) lab 5x8 hour day shifts from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM Weekend and overnight call rotation as needed No floating required Expected to work 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's) or 1 of 2 if contract spans fewer holidays Uses Philips fluoroscopy equipment and PACS system Requirements Minimum 2 years of experience in a cardiac cath lab setting Current ACLS and BLS certification required; CCI RCIS preferred License required if applicable EPIC charting experience required Community hospital experience required Prior travel assignment experience required Skilled in EKG lead placement, access site prep, hemodynamic monitoring, and sterile technique Experience with diagnostic and left/right heart catheterizations, PCI, PTCA, IABP, Impella insertion, and pacemaker/AICD procedures Vascular closure system experience (Perclose, StarClose) preferred Experience with thrombolysis/thrombectomy and upper/lower extremity angiography preferred Additional Information May provide care to COVID-positive patients Facility maintains a tobacco and fragrance-free environment RTO limited to a maximum of 7 days per contract Local candidates within a 50-mile radius may be considered Responsibilities include equipment setup and maintenance, supply stocking, sterile field maintenance, and interpretation of dysrhythmias Role includes scrub and circulator duties for cath lab and EP procedures First-time travelers will not be considered for this role American Traveler Job ID P-740605.
