Desktop Support EngineerTempe, AZ, US Remote Vaco $USD 26 - 30 ContractorWe are seeking a Desktop Support Engineer to provide technical support and manage the lifecycle of end-user technology across the organization. This role supports hardware, software, mobile devices, user accounts, and IT assets while delivering excellent customer service to employees and partnering with external vendors and managed service providers.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide desktop and end-user support for laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and related hardwareTroubleshoot and resolve issues involving Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, and business applicationsSupport mobile devices including iPhones, iPads, tablets, hotspots, and associated softwareAssist users with printers, plotters, displays, and other peripheral devicesManage and follow up on support tickets to ensure timely resolutionPartner with internal teams and managed service providers to resolve technical issuesSupport IT onboarding, deployments, upgrades, and acquisition-related integrationsTrack and maintain inventory of IT assets, including computers, mobile devices, printers, and software licensesMonitor device health, lifecycle, refresh schedules, and equipment disposal processesManage software licensing, subscriptions, and complianceAssist with hardware and software rollouts for small and large groups of usersCreate and maintain technical documentation, processes, and user training materialsRequired Qualifications3 years of desktop support, help desk, or end-user computing experienceStrong knowledge of Windows 10 and Windows 11 environmentsExperience supporting Microsoft 365 applications and servicesExperience with Active Directory and Azure AD hybrid environmentsKnowledge of Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Defender, and mobile device management (MDM)Experience managing Group Policy configurationsUnderstanding of software deployment, device imaging, and lifecycle managementExperience tracking IT assets, inventory, and software licensingStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical usersPreferred QualificationsExperience supporting hybrid SCCM and Intune environmentsExperience leading or supporting hardware refresh initiativesExperience with user migrations, acquisitions, or large-scale deploymentsBasic project management experience related to IT infrastructure or end-user technologyBy submitting to this position, you are agreeing to be included in our talent pool for future hiring for similarly qualified positions.
